It sounds pretty naive to write about ma school days at this juncture...after years into college life and lota other interesting puzzles to muse on.but..i have to confess, i cant help writing about my school and school days.our school reunion is nearing, i justify this literary fling. Like me almost all love their school and those wonderful moments we have spent there.Old friends and nostalgic memories crowd our mind almost on a daily basis.many often we just wish to be there among our friends in those wonderful moments of life called school days.
i did my complete schooling from kv pattom, 12 great long years.School life was hot topic of discussion i was in my first year of college.many often i wuld hear someone bring out his stupendous days with atmost passion.tell tale signature of the 'miss school' syndrome. We dont hear about it much these days.Might be coz CET is such a happening place,in every way.but it takes just a split second to take a dab at those 10 plus years.memories afresh, and as i am going through this split second of emotional spasm i hope i can rekindle those beautiful moments for you all.
Ya, i miss my school days.not because college life is boring but i hav lost of friends in my headway to college. If my school was goodie college is a gift.and if you are reading this i know you are of one the pleasant surprises i found in the gift.I remember those days. i am in a white shirt navy blue pants and im being caviled for violating the dress code by our then principal Mr.radakrishnan sir.I forgot to insert my shirt.hehee..after getting excused for one more time i ran to join my pals at top ground.top ground as we called our main ground was the center stage of every sports activity.A football game was to begin.Football was the common passion in our school. It has been like that for years for my seniors my juniors alike, followed by basketball. In the next 35 minutes intense contest follows.shouts of pass and head cld be heard.the wonderful passes of pramit immaculate kicks of premi amazing headers by manesh sethus unassailable defense. They were the stalwarts of the game.A lose was nothng less than death itself.almost everything for that ball for a goal.winning was evrything.we came up with all types of excuse to prolong that 35 mts."Ankerre inne varilleda" to "thenga kollaa....thalledete poi chavvan paraa".lol..after getting exhausted to the end we stop the game.we used to walk back cracking jokes, cogitating that days play. The archenemys on ground laugh and walk with arms around. We all were one.nothing could beat that spirit. The only thing we could not bear was the punishment that awaited us for coming late.nothing mattered more than the game.At the end of my school days i found that watching the game from the top of the wall which separated our ground from psc compund was even more fun, taking shade under trees. The psc compound was reffered as 'kaadu' coz it was literally a kaadu.kaadu was our adventure point we used to go for exploring or to pluck tamarind. To tell u the truth the tamarinds of the kaadu tasted awesome.hhee..it ws something more of a prize after a successful expedition. As we walked back with the prize we establish unparalleled untold superiority over others who were taking a hit at the other half a dozen tamarind and badam trees in our school campus.I cannot continue...that life of 12 years need a centuary to be told.I cannot do justice to my school and those glorious years.so much to be told.Mayb i wil try sometimes later.but now i cant continue.emotions engulf me.Let me cherish them.I am breaking down.
